Recommended Accommodation

Each of the locations we list on the website may contain some recommended accommodation. These are recommended based on proximity to the location so that the distance between the accommodation and the location is accessible by either a short walk or a short journey by public or private transport. There can be some exceptions such as locations in remote areas where the nearest accommodation we feel we can recommend is some distance away and may require private transport and so we do recommend that you always check the proximity of any location with the accommodation before booking. Your contract for any accommodation booked from our listings is with either the travel agent you booked with or the hotel if booked directly.

How we Currently Rate Accommodation

Economy
These are generally hotels that are either low cost or provide basic services during your stay or where there is a mix of customer feedback. These could be of any star rating. Customer feedback may be varied.

Mid Range
These are hotels where we find the level of service above the basic, comfort and good customer feedback based on various third party sources. These are generally but not limited to three to four star hotels.

Luxury
These are hotels that we feel are well above standard, provide excellent level of service and/or have excellent customer service noted by various third party sourced. These tend to be rated four or five star.

Romantic
These hotels are usually, but not limited to, luxury hotels that also have services available, usually at extra cost, that include services such as champaign in the room, flowers, spa or that we feel the decor promotes a romantic stay. We cannot guarantee these services will always be available so please contact the revelant hotel or travel agent for more details prior to booking to avoid disappointment.

Our rating system is supplied purely as a guide and further research with the relevant travel agent or hotel should be made before booking.
